Asthma |
|
Asthma is an inflammatory disease of the bronchial tubes, the passageways that carry
air in and out of the lungs.
|
|
The inflammation causes the airways to become swollen and narrow, obstructing the flow of air. This leads to attacks of wheezing and breathing difficulties.
Besides the medication, the following measures may provide quick relief.
- Take a solution of 1/4 cup onion juice, one tablespoon honey and 1/8 tablespoon black pepper.
- Make a decoction of liquorice and ginger; give 1/2 tablespoon in one cup of water.
- Extract the juice from garlic. Mix 10-15 drops in warm water and drink it.
