The purpose of this scheme is to enroll maximum number of children, various incentives as provided through supply of free books, free uniforms, free spectacles, hearing aid reimbursement of medical bills for special ailments need in surgical treatment.

Eligibility

• Girls and boys from poor families, particularly from weaker and backward communities and mostly residing in slums / re-settlement colonies and rural areas.
• Students in Municipal Corporation of Delhi schools are entitled.
• It provides uniforms to children from Below Poverty Line families (whose annual income is less than Rs.11,000 in rural areas and Rs.11,850 in urban areas).
• Two frocks, one pair of shoes, 2 pairs of socks and one sweater are provided to each girl child.
• Similarly 2 pairs of shirts, 2 pairs of half pants and one pair of shoes, pairs of socks and one sweater are provided to a boy student.
