The aim of this scheme is to assist homeless people, people in inadequate houses, SCs/STs and people living below the poverty line.

• Rs.20,000 is provided only for the construction of houses with clean toilets and smokeless chulhas (wood cook-stoves)
• If you are converting a kachha house or semi-pucca house into a pucca house with clean toilets and smokeless chulhas a sum of Rs.10,000 can be provided
