This scheme is open to fishermen who are members of registered fishermen co-operative societies. It subsidises building their houses.

• A fisherman can obtain Rs 20,000 to help construct his house.
• If 20 fishermen want to build their houses in the same area, they can qualify for an additional Rs 15,000 to install a hand pump which is to be shared by them.
