Terms and conditions
1. The aspirants will send the loan applications to the Primary Agriculture Development
Bank through the Land Conservation Department.
2. An estimation report and technical feasibility report should be attached along
with the application.
3. The supplier will be paid to the extent of 85% of the loan amount on proper authorisation
by the farmer. The balance 15% of the loan as the second and final installment will
be released by the department only after the farmer certifies proper utilisation
of the first installment of loan. This work will be completed by the department
within two months of the release of loan.
4. The State Government will provide cemented pipes, cement and other
necessary items to the farmer. Only I.S.I. certified pipes will have to be used for the purpose.
5. The loan will have to be repaid in nine years and this will carry a grace period
of 12 months.
Drip Irrigation Scheme
(For Punjab farmers only)
Under this scheme, loans are provided for setting up of different type of orchards,
in accordance with the total area in cultivation.
