This scheme addresses the needs of women farmers and provides assistance in agricultural services such as input support, technological support and extension support. It does this by:

• Providing adequate organisational and financial support to women to help them establish viable units
• Providing technical training in agricultural activities
• Providing intensive and rigorous training to the women, already trained in the first phase of the scheme, through specialised vocational training courses.
