Precautions To Be Taken
| |
-
Spacing between two rows of trees should be adequate enough, a tractor should be able to pass through when ploughing needs to be done.
-
In case of high moisture in the soil, trees should be planted on bunds and when the moisture content is low trees should be planted in sunken pits.
- Those trees should be planted with crops that do not shed excessive leaves,
as this would prevent growth of crops and may also increase the probability of fire.
- When agricultural crops are not present in the field and only trees stand,
timely weeding should be done.
